How to get to
Casa D'Acquisto
By car
The easiest way to get to the villa is by car.
A lot of car rentals are located around the airport. Once you get your car, take the road E90 until the exit Casteldaccia, the villa is then 5 minutes away.
Duration: 40 to 50 minutes
Tips on How to Drive in Sicily:
- Italian drivers can be a little extra… Be careful, and don’t assume that other drivers are following the same rules as you are 😉
- City centers usually have a limited traffic zone that you cannot access. Look for the signs indicating ZTL (Zona Traffico Limitato) to avoid them.
- Parking rules :
– Blue lines are the most common and are to be paid. Parking meters only take coins and are rarely working so the app EasyPark can be convenient (although it doesn’t work everywhere). Sometimes, a guy may come to you and ask some money to “watch over” your car. In this case, you don’t need to pay for parking but you must give him about 1€.
– White lines are free but might sometimes be reserved to resident so always check the street signs.
– Yellow lines are prohibited. - Parking in Palermo.
The whole city center of Palermo is restricted. We recommend you park at the Foro Italico, where you can find a lot of blue line parkings. Parking meters nor Easypark are working in this area, you can just give 1€ to the “parking guy” and leave. From there, you can easily get to Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which will lead you to the center. - Parking in Cefalù.
The easiest way is to park along the beach, where there are the blue lines. You can use the Easypark app to pay your parking. - Never leave anything in the car !
By taxi
You can also arrive at the villa by taxi.
Duration: 40 / 50 minutes
Cost : 100 / 130€ – depending on the number of passengers
We recommend the local taxi company Tourist Service Casteldaccia as they are very professional, reliable and know well the area around the villa.
Once you are at the villa, they can also help you to move around.
