The Story
The story of Casa d’Acquisto begins over a century ago, when the gardener of Solanto Castle, Mr. D’Acquisto, heroically rescued the prince from drowning in the sea. As a gesture of gratitude, he was gifted a scenic strip of land along the coast, between the castle and Casteldaccia village.
Although the property changed hands over time, it was recently repurchased by a member of the D’Acquisto family. The current owner has cherished memories of visiting Casa D’Acquisto with his family over 50 years ago. He fondly recalls watching his parents play cards late into the night, while he and his brothers enjoyed delicious spaghetti dinners, roasted fish, and listened to Beatles albums. Today, the owner takes great pride in maintaining the property to the highest standards, so that future generations can continue to create unforgettable memories at Casa d’Acquisto.
